Spring Bookish Bingo Wrap Up

Hey y’all! So I didn’t get a ton of reading done in May but what I did read was really fun and romantical and satisfying! The end of May also signified the end of another season of Bookish Bingo. One of these days I’ll get more than one bingo haha.

Summers At Castle Auburn by Sharon Shinn- 4 stars. This was so charming!!! It’s a slice of life fantasy and I loved all of the characters and court intrigue. The romances are slow burn but oh so satisfying!

Royals by Rachel Hawkins- 4 stars. This was a little silly, a little unbelievable, and a lot of fun! It reminded me of What A Girl Wants mixed with Princess Diaries. I loved the characters, especially Daisy, and the relationships & Scottish royals were a lot of fun to read about.

To Kill A Kingdom by Alexandra Christo- 3.5 stars. Very fast paced, lots of action, and some great main characters. I enjoyed it a lot but there was something missing for me.

The Hating Game by Sally Thorne- 5 stars (reread #2). Every time I read this hilarious romantic comedy I love it more!! If it was a movie (starring Zooey Deschanel & Henry Cavill *cough cough*)  I’d watch it once a week. It’s really fun knowing all the secrets and hints because so many scenes and exchanges mean more to me now! OTP ❤
