Hi there, I’m Morgan!

I’m in my early 30s and live in Northern California with my husband and our beagle Andy.

I’m an excitable person- I LOVE to love things! It fills me with such joy that I want to talk and text and tweet about my passions and use exclamation points and capitals ALL THE TIME! I have a lot of various nerdy interests so there’s always something to be excited about and something to look forward to.

Once I discovered Twitter, Goodreads, and book blogs, I found a whole new way to discover and covet books, and share my experiences! I read mostly YA now but still love adult books too- mainly historical fiction, rom coms, and authors like Kate Morton. I especially love any book with a good ship 😉 Before starting The Bookish Beagle, I blogged at Gone with the Words from 2014-2017 and loved every moment.

When I’m not reading I’m usually watching movies, snuggling with Andy, or drinking tea. Sometimes all at once! My twitter tends to be bookish by day, sporty by night, and active all. the. time. And my TBR pile is out of control, of course. Besides books, I’m a big fan of baking, history, the ocean, Funko Pops, the Lakers, french fries, grilled cheese, dance parties, looking at the stars, Hamilton, Chris Evans, comic book movies, and everything Disney.
