Surprise! Somehow it’s almost the end of January already and I’m just getting around to my December challenge wrap up, as well as my challenge wrap up for the entire year… and since I didn’t read a ton in December (4 books total), I think I’ll focus on my year-end wrap up. All the books are listed in the order I read them so I’ll just bold the applicable December titles!

Overall I did really well with two of my challenges and so-so on the other three. I was genuinely surprised that I read an equal amount of fantasy and contemporary books. I’m equally surprised at how few retellings I read- I still have a ton on my TBR. But overall, I really enjoyed my reading year and tried not to pressure myself too much. I think it worked because I loved a lot of the books I picked up! I also completed my Goodreads Challenge of 70 books- I finished the year with 73 total.
