Top Ten Tuesday: Books I Meant To Read in 2017

I can’t tell you how many times I’ve been super excited for a book, plan to read it ASAP, and then somehow the year is already over. D’oh! I’m going to make it a priority to get to these ten books I meant to read in 2017:

TTT 2018
A Poison Dark and Drowning (Kingdom on Fire #2) by Jessica Cluess
Now I Rise (The Conqueror’s Saga #2) by Kiersten White
The Valiant (The Valiant #1) by Lesley Livingston
Wild Beauty by Anna-Marie McLemore
Wonder Woman: Warbringer (DC Icons #1) by Leigh Bardugo

TTT 2018 adult
The Price of Blood (Emma of Normandy #2) by Patricia Bracewell
A Column of Fire (Kingsbridge #3) by Ken Follett
No Limits by Ellie Marney
An Extraordinary UnionΒ (The Loyal League #1) by Alyssa Cole
House of Shadows by Nicola Cornick

What books are you hoping to finally cross of your list? Which of these should I prioritize?

HELLO MORGAN I THINK THIS IS AN EXCELLENT IDEA and I’m going to join you in a few of those alsoooo do we get to add to your shame list πŸ˜€ πŸ˜€

Btw, might be worth it to “read” Now I Rise on audio because Fiona Hardingham is a really good narrator. I’ll probably end up listening to the And I Darken audio on my commute.

I haven’t read any of these, so I wouldn’t be much help! I do want to read Wild Beauty, though. My goal for 2018 is to re-read some of my old favorites. I’m always ready to read something new and amazing, but I forget the books I’ve already read and loved. I want to try and re-read at least 10 books this year!

I really liked the Valiant – I think you would too! Not a perfect book but such a fun, YA ancient rome book! I’m totally eager for you to read poison dark and drowning so we can talk about it — I had a lot of thoughts at the ending! I also meant to read warbringer last year but just started it a few days ago! I really need to finish ellie marney’s every breath series! It has actually been years since I read the first book so I’m thinking a reread is in order and then the rest of the series!

Now that we’re both in such an Ancient Rome mood I really need to read The Valiant! Ahhh thoughts can be good or bad! I’ll probably read it closer to the third book’s release. YES you should def reread and finish Every Breath!! It’s so intense but sooooo good!
