Bookish Bingo & Feb Challenge Updates

Another season comes to a close and so does another round of Bookish Bingo hosted by Bekka @ Pretty Deadly Reviews! I came so close to quite a few bingos but it wasn’t meant to be. Generally speaking though, I love Bookish Bingo as a TBR motivator! I like picking out books for each square ahead of time but it also gives me wiggle room and helps me get through some of my TBR quicker. Plus, it’s fun!

Now my reading challenges… normally, I would break them up into each respective challenge but February was a slow reading month for me (4 books) and 1 of those books worked for 3 separate challenges!

Flights of Fantasy, Retellings Reading Challenge, Rock My TBR
#flightsoffantasy, #RetellingsRC2017, #RockMyTBR

Princess of Thorns by Stacey Jay- 4.5 stars.A really cool twist on a Sleeping Beauty sequel! Lots of action and swoony romance and fantasy goodness in this satisfying standalone.

Contemporary Romance Reading Challenge
#ContRom2017

Coming Up For Air by Miranda Kenneally- 3 stars. It was a little corny at times but if you’re a fan of the other Hundred Oaks books, you’ll enjoy this. I liked the strong friendships and how positive this book was at displaying different sorts of high school relationships and feelings. Also LEVI READS THE RAVEN BOYS!

Are you taking part in any reading challenges this year? How did you do last month?

Nice job, Morgan! We had a couple books in common this bingo — it was a pretty fun card to fill in. I totally agree — it’s such a great motivator for me. And it also usually makes me read I book I own as opposed to all ARCs, lol. 🙂

I love when authors have in-world references like that!

    Happy reading lady!
