Super cute- teen bookworms are going to love this! My main gripe was that there was a LOT going on, to the point where it felt like each storyline didn’t get the depth it deserved. And it all happened in the space of a week, which made it feel even more unbelievable. But I loved the holiday cheer, the bookstore setting, the large diverse cast (Black, Mexican, disabled, and queer rep off the top of my head), and the Jewish main character AND love interest! I love the holiday season so much and it always makes me happy to see Hanukkah genuinely included. Shoshanna was impulsive and naive but had such a good heart and felt like a real teen. It was a sweet book that I would LOVE to see as a Netflix movie tbh!

Yay a holiday book that isn’t about Christmas! This seems cute, but I can see where there is a bit too much. Makes the book lose focus.
