I clearly loved this because I read it straight through in one sitting. I was laughing hysterically almost immediately and loved the entire vibe. Josh and Hazel were such a delight together- opposites attract in every way. Their friendship was wonderful and their romance was sexy and sweet. And I loved Hazel a lot. Someone described her as a wilder Jess from New Girl and that’s honestly a perfect description. The ending came faster than expected (my book ended at 91%!) and it was surprising but also very cute.

I haven’t read JOSH AND HAZEL’S GUIDE TO NOT DATING yet, but I read ROOMIES earlier this year and liked it a lot! I know a lot of people have been saying good things about this one, but I also keep hearing about the bad ending. Not sure if it means that it was written poorly or that they were just unhappy with where the relationship went! Anyway, I’m glad this book made you laugh. I love when that happens!

I wouldn’t consider it a bad ending at all, maybe just a little sweeter/different than people are used to. I don’t know haha. I still need to read Roomies!

Hazel was similar to Jess! I hated when Hazel said something about being unlikable or not datable because of her personality. Yes, she accepted and loved herself, but she shouldn’t have been so down about finding love. I really enjoyed her relationship with Joss, and enjoyed their past and present interactions. The fact that he framed her email — hilarious! They were just so sweet together, and I loved their friendship. Even the blind dates were fun! So happy you enjoyed this one! I thought it was wonderful.
