The 6th annual ARC August, hosted by Read.Sleep.Repeat, is almost upon us! This will be my 4th year participating and I always enjoy it because it’s a great way to whittle down my ARC pile (and my guilt over said pile). Plus I love getting to make lists and meet specific goals. This year is even cooler because Octavia, Shelly, and Angie are hosting their first ARC August Readathon from August 4th-5th! I’ve never done a readathon before but I’m excited to give it a go.
As per usual, my list is subject to change but I’ve picked 5 print arcs (all upcoming) and 5 e-arcs (all backlist, whoops) to focus on- 10 books a month is a super good reading month for me so it feels like an attainable goal. Unfortunately some of my arcs are in storage with the rest of my books so I also had to pick titles I had handy.
Here are the books I’m planning to read for #ARCAugust!
Seafire by Natalie C. Parker
Check, Please!: Hockey by Ngozi Ukazu
What The Woods Keep by Katya de Becerra
The Tomb by S.A. Bodeen
Empire of Sand by Tasha Suri
The Bone Witch by Rin Chupeco
Mask of Shadows by Linsey Miller
House of Shadows by Nicola Cornick
The Hazel Wood by Melissa Albert
American Panda by Gloria Chao
Are you going to participate in #ARCAugust this year? What books are on your TBR? Let me know!
I’m with ya on the backlist egalleys! haha. My TBR list (going up on Thursday) has a few print ARCs and mostly egalleys, but a definite mix of backlist and upcoming lol. Even when I FEEL ahead on them, I never am haha.

I didn’t even realize it was going to be August. (Honestly, where have I been?) But I plan on signing up and I also am going to try and tackle some of backlist e-galleys. Best of luck!
