Top Ten Tuesday: Best Books I’ve Read in 2018 So Far

2018 has been a really good reading year for me as we reach the halfway point. I’m on track with my Goodreads goal, I’ve been rereading lots of favorites, and I’ve been reading quality books outside of those favorites as well. Here are the ones I’ve loved best so far:

Ash Princess by Laura Sebastian
Love Sugar Magic: A Dash of Trouble by Anna Meriano
Gemina by Amie Kaufman & Jay Kristoff
Circe by Madeline Miller
Summers At Castle Auburn by Sharon Shinn
Royals by Rachel Hawkins
The Clockmaker’s Daughter by Kate Morton
Starry Eyes by Jenn Bennett
The Kiss Quotient by Helen Hoang

What have been your favorites of the year so far? I’d love to add to my TBR! Did we love any of the same books?

You have such an awesome list! The Kiss Quotient and Starry Eyes are both def among my favorites of the year so far. I also loved Royals so much more than I expected I would, and I can’t wait for the sequel! Gemina is such a great sequel; it’s probably my favorite book in the series. I NEEEEEED to read Circe. It’s been sitting on my shelves for months, and I have no idea why I haven’t picked it up yet. Also, I KEEP FORGETTING THERE’S A NEW KATE MORTON BOOK! I need to get my hands on a copy ASAP!

OMG, I adored The Kiss Quotient and Starry Eyes!! I think people hyped up Ash Princess too much for me so I didn’t enjoy it in the end- but I’m glad you did! I also really need to read Circe. Hope you have an incredible second half of the year with reading!

I have been in such a reading slump this year. It’s ridiculous. Re-reading is usually my go-to method for breaking the slump but even that isn’t working this time. I think it’s one of those where I need to just let it ride out. I loved Gemina. I’m hoping to read the third book by the end of the year cause I need to know if everyone survives haha. The Kiss Quotient has become a recent addition to my tbr. It sounds like such a great book.

I loved Gemina! I picked up Royals and it was perfect for a quick, cute read. I was hoping for another story from her exactly like it. Can’t wait to see what Hawkins puts out next.

The Kiss Quotient should be in my mailbox tonight. Thanks to bookish friends I heard about it and it sounds adorable!
