In other words, after years of co-blogging and thinking I’d never start my own book blog I’ve started my own book blog. You all know I love to discuss books and share opinions (and gifs!) so really it was just a matter of time. I love writing for Gone with the Words but I’m also excited to create my own little corner of the internet! I’m still very new to all of the formatting and behind the scenes parts of blogging so please bear with me and the site while it’s in its “puppy stages”.
SPEAKING OF: I have a beagle named Andy, who I adore. He is very sweet and loves books like his mama. In fact, I’ve added an “Andy & books” gallery that I’ll update periodically! I also follow a ton of beagle accounts on Instagram because it’s hard to resist their cute faces and mischievous personalities, and because I’m weird LOL.
I can’t tell you how hard it was to think of a blog name- something that was unique but easy to spell, something that would capture my personality while reflecting the bookish roots of this space. And from all of that came The Bookish Beagle! What am I known for (besides my Captain America/Disney/etc. obsessions)? Loving books. And my beagle. Hah. I am also a ginormous Anglophile and have been for most of my life so I seriously adore that it sounds like an English pub! It just fits.

Yes, yes, yes, it really always is a matter of time when it comes to blogging. I’ve had my blog since 2011 and I’ve barely posted in the last year but it’s great to have an outlet and I don’t plan to stop anytime soon. So go you for solo-blogging! =D
